25 Recommended LGBTQ+ Horror Books

It’s June and Pride Month is here!

Pride Month is about celebrating and bringing visibility to LGBTQ+ people and recognising their contributions to LGBTQ+ rights and history. In publishing, LGBTQ+ books and stories were often overlooked due to censorship and lack of commercial backing. But representation matters to readers, and today we can see more visibility and acclaim for books with LGBTQ+ characters and themes. It’s important that the publishing industry takes steps to be more inclusive, which will hopefully reflect in the public’s reading choices as well.

So in celebration of Pride, I’ve compiled a list of horror books featuring LGBTQ+ characters. Enjoy!
