I’ve been in a Project Hail Mary fever since the movie’s release! I loved the book, and I thought it’s a fantastic adaptation for the screen (check out this cool display I visited!). The characters are perfectly rendered, the movie retains the book’s emotional core, and I love that they kept the original ending intact. It’s a beautiful, whimsical, life-affirming movie that many have termed #hopecore. And you know what? I love my dark horror stories, but sometimes I need a little light too.
