Best Horror Books of the 21st Century
The New York Times caused a buzz recently when they released their list of 100 Best Books of the 21st Century. As usual, “best of” lists can be controversial and this one is no different because it focuses mainly on literary fiction and nonfiction, skipping over genre fiction. There isn’t a single horror book included. So, I decided to make my own list!
“Best” is subjective of course but I tried to choose books that I thought represented horror in different ways. Plus, they are just fantastic books in general. Since it was hard to choose, I also made an honourable mention list.
