15 Nightmare Workplace Books For Fans of ‘Severance’
“The work is mysterious and important.”
After 3 long years, Severance is back for a brand new season! The TV series takes place in a near-future world where the surgical procedure called “severance” is possible. It allows office workers at the mysterious company Lumon to have separate work and personal lives. But these lives are on a collision course when Mark (Adam Scott) realises Lumon might not be a regular workplace and sets out to find the truth. The show is brilliant at portraying a capitalistic nightmare, where productivity is everything, and curiosity is killed. There’s drama, intrigue, romance, even tragedy, and I’m super invested!
Watching the show makes me want to read stories about strange workplaces, so I’ve compiled a list of books like Severance. Check them out!
