30 Thrilling Nordic Noir Books To Read This Fall
Hello November!
It’s officially Nordic Noir November, my annual reading challenge where I encourage readers to read and share as many Nordic Noir books as possible. Nordic noir is a subgenre of crime fiction set in one of the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, as well as Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland). It features dark and disturbing storylines in bleak, atmospheric locations. Nordic noir is a mood as much as a genre and the darkening days of fall is the perfect time to read these books!
I’ve compiled a list of new and thrilling Nordic noir books for you to read. I hope you’ll find something you like!
