22 Must-Read LGBTQ+ Mystery and Thriller Books

Happy Pride Month!

Pride Month is about bringing visibility to the LGBTQ+ communities, recognizing their ongoing fight for equality, and celebrating their right to be themselves. Books with LGBTQ+ themes have been underrepresented in mainstream publishing until recently. No longer seen as a “niche” category, there are now books with LGBTQ+ characters in various genres including horror. Representation matters and the publishing industry’s move to be more inclusive is important towards making readers feel seen and accepted.

In celebration of Pride, I’ve compiled a list of thriller and mystery books with LGBTQ+ characters. These books can be read all year long and I hope you’ll enjoy them!
