Midnight. Some call it the witching hour. Others call it the devilโ€™s hour. Here in the graveyard, midnight is a very special time. It is a time when ghostly spirits are at their strongest, when the veil between our world and theirs is at its thinnest.ย

Anthologies can be hit or miss for the most part but I like reading them as I can discover new authors. Iโ€™m pleased with how much I enjoyed MIDNIGHT IN THE GRAVEYARD! It contains 25 horror stories featuring ghosts in all shapes and forms, and the majority are compelling and memorable. Even the introduction, written by Jonathan Janz. is entertainingly enticing.

Here are my picks of the bunch:

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฉ๐จ๐œ๐ค๐ž๐ญ by Alan M Clark – a beautiful Dickensian story of a reverse pickpocket
๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ญ by Kealan Patrick Burke – an emotional, dark tale of desperation

There were a couple of stories that I felt were kind of forgettable but none that I disliked. This is truly an outstanding collection and I’m glad for the chance to read it. I took my time with the book, it was fun reading a new story every day! Highly recommended.
